Wetherby is an award winning floral market town has many treasures to explore including panoramic scenery and historic architecture. Wetherby’s origins are as a staging post for travellers through the centuries between Edinburgh and London. Now it has developed into a busy market town, and still retains its Thursday Market, granted by Royal Charter in 1240. Wetherby is also the perfect base to explore Leeds, York and Harrogate. The town itself which provides a wide range of shops and local amenities including schools for children of all ages including the nearby Wetherby High School, sports, health and recreational facilities.

Wetherby provides excellent access for commuting through to Harrogate, Leeds and York, along with the nearby A1/ M1 link road and the A64 providing further access to national and regional road networks for swift and easy commuting throughout the Yorkshire region. Located in the heart of Wetherby is the former Brunswick Public House. The upper floors of The Brunswick have been converted into four exclusive apartments which have been finished to a very high standard whilst retaining charm and character.

Boston Spa is a favourite spot for some of England’s best-known faces, including ‘Greatest Living Yorkshireman’ contender, cricketer Geoff Boycott, and several stars from soap drama Emmerdale.

It’s not surprising they’ve opted to live there – the family-friendly village was recently voted one of the best places to live in England by The Sunday Times.

Boston Spa was developed in the mid-18th century after mineral springs were discovered in the area. Baths were built to meet demand from visitors from all over to try the spa waters in the hope of relieving medical conditions and for their ‘feel good’ qualities.

By the mid-19th century, the town had grown, with hotels, inns and bars and attractive homes.

Its High Street is lined with attractive properties and villas, while the River Wharfe attracts visitors who want to stroll along its banks and spot the local wildlife.
